Almost everything was fine but the design of the hotel and the rooms. Our room was like a little prison and I am sure there are better prison cells than our room. But again, the rest about the hotel is good.

Last time I was in Rotterdam, I stayed in a hotel that cost 3 x as much, and I enjoyed my stay here much more, it is quirky but great for one or two nights, the bed was really comfortable, the shower was lovely. There is no TV in the room nor outside window should that matter to you....normally not being able to open a window is a pain point for me as I hate air con, but it was no problem and I slept really well.
Very close to the train station, I plan on staying here again when I am next in town.
