Great hotel staff helpful and friendly. Only thing was the noise we were in the room by the door so heard people coming and going and a lot of chatting until the early hours on our first night. But otherwise the hotel was fab couldn’t fault it.

I hesitated because of some of the reviews, but honestly, this place is perfect for a budget traveller. It's clean, extremely well located and staff is friendly & helpful.
If you can't stand a little noise or narrow staircases, then it's not just that this hotel is not for you: Amsterdam is not for you. And if you need more space and more luxury, you will simply need more money. Some people just want a five-star experience on a shoestring budget..
The bed is comfy and big enough for 2, there's a coffee maker and a safe in the room, soap in the bathroom and friendly smiles at reception. I recommend Sara's Boutique Hotel.
