8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026
Nice place, good amenities, great location. Will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel during the 4th of July weekend. The hotel was clean and located in a great location
3 things:
1. We paid for a river view room, but the trees were blocking our view.
2. Every Morning there would be a smell coming from the bathroom sink.
3. Parking is not included in your stay.

We are locals, but stayed at Hawthorn when going to a concert at the nearby Forum because it's in walking distance. The hotel offers free breakfast (although we left too early to take advantage of it). The downside is that even though you're a hotel guest who's stayed several times, you still have to pay separately for parking in the hotel's own parking lot. But the proximity to our venue as well as walking distance to nearby restaurants made it still worthwhile to us.
