It was really an exceptional hotel and at the same time terrific value. They offered a fixed price menu at their restaurant which was excellent and Monpazier is a terrific little town.

The property is a charming historic hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely as well, though it was a bit chilly to use it. We enjoyed sitting beside it. Our room was well appointed though cosy. People who enjoy a spacious room would want to specify that when booking. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner.
