The property has the best location for visiting the palace and for shopping. It is a 15-minute walk to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. It’s also a block away from Wangfujing, one of Beijings shopping hubs. If you want to go to Universal Studios, the express train at Wangfujing station, which is a walking distance, will bring you there. Just take the line 1 train and Universal Resort Beijing is the terminal destination to the east. Being at the Center of Beijing, it is also close to a number of restaurants and transportation is never an issue because busses pass by the hotel and taxis abound. The property is clean as well as the surrounding area. The room I booked was spacious and linens are clean. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. If I’m back in Beijing, I will book in the same hotel again.
