Excellent breakfast

I asked for 2 separate beds but was not available. It was noisy outside and inside. But it was a perfect spot to visit all the hotspots.

Very good location for a visit in the Istanbul old city
Also near the tramway station and port

Mixed review on Hotel Ipek Palas, the location is great, alot of shops close by as well as some restaurants, easy access to a tram stop but also you could walk to the big attractions, I'd say the location is perfect. The hotel itself is nice, clean but the breakfast is limited so it was a waste for us as after the first morning we never ate there again. The room was tiny, we only had access to one side of the bed, which was also very small and no room to move, couldn't even open a suitcase in the room had to open it Infront of the door or on the bed but then you had no where to sit. The bathroom in our room also smelt damp but seemed clean. Torn whether I would stop there again
