What a lovely hotel and only 5/7 minutes from Edinburgh Waverley Station.
Lots of character, (I understand 3 houses joined together), and beautifully furnished; old style comfort.
Nice friendly reception and I had a lovely single room. Important to note there is a lift, but because of the nature of the building some rooms only accessed via a short staircase. Recommend notifying the hotel if you have any mobility issues.
Had a loved breakfast, nice big kipper with toast and great coffee.
My only regret is not having a whisky in the snug.
If you want a hotel with character, this is well recommended and good value.

We stayed 4 nights at the Parliament House Hotel.
We found the hotel's location was very good especially for Old Town sightseeing and attractions.
The room was well appointed & a king bed was terrific! We did find the temperature in the room to be a little too warm, even with the window left open all the time & heater turned off.
We did not have breakfast there but did enjoy a drink in the lobby area.......very nice !
Staff were attentive to our requests & needs.
Overall great place to stay for a 4 night visit.
