Mayan Monkey Isla Mujeres | Social Hotel

As a solo female traveler, I had an amazing stay at Mayan Monkey Isla Mujeres. I booked a private room, which gave me the perfect balance of comfort, privacy, and the fun social atmosphere the hostel is known for. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed after a day of exploring the island. The property itself was well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I always felt safe during my stay, which made traveling alone even more enjoyable. One of my favorite things about staying here was how easy it was to meet other travelers. Whether hanging out by the pool, relaxing on the beach, or joining the hostel’s activities, there were plenty of opportunities to connect with people from all over the world. The beachfront location is beautiful, and the vibe is fun without feeling overwhelming. If you’re traveling solo but still want your own space, I highly recommend booking one of the private rooms. It was the perfect combination of privacy, comfort, and a great social experience. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Isla Mujeres!

I truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is clean and well decorated. The activities to mingle With the other guests are an additional plus. I’ll be back soon.

I got upgraded to a beach front room, and loved it. My only negative, was the loud DJ. Thankfully he ended his set early enough, for some sleep. But he might as well have set camp, in my room. If you aren’t in party mode? keep the jungle room!

Although the Jungle room was very pretty the smell was just too much at times coming from the outside. If the humidifier needed a change the smell would wake u up out your sleep.
