This property is an absolute gem! I highly recommend it for romantic gateway. Very charming castle, comfortable room, and amazing views. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was delicious. I would definitely return.

Lovely hilltop setting with castle, gorgeous old-world bedrrom suite, delicious and well-presented food/restaurant for dinner and amazing breakfast set up..very confiryable beds, views everywhere..loved every detail!

Beautiful property, scenic. Although it wasn’t clear that we could not go into the castle at all unless we signed up for a tour and there were no tours available until after we checked out the next day.

We were there for a wedding at the castle. The setting was beautiful. The location, while a bit hard to find, is well worth the effort. The scenery is picturesque. Its quiet and tranquil and rich in history. We got a tour of the castle from the daughter who lives in the castle with her father. The room in the hotel we had was a juniot suite and the view was like a painting. There is a restaurant onsite that served local fare and we enjoyed it very much. You will need a car to explore other restaurants or shops.
