Although a little run down this is certainly made up for in the service received. Would stay here again for the convenience.

Right in Gion, very easy to access a lot of Kyoto attractions and shopping.

We stayed for 3 nights in this traditional Japanese ryokan. Staff is very friendly, the room is kept clean, and food was amazing.
The only minus was the shared showers.
