Kilford Arms Hotel

Loved the vibe of this hotel. Staff was extremely helpful, friendly and made the stay great. Rooms were clean, carpet was a little dated but still clean. Great location, with lots of eating and shopping options in walking distance. Bonus, Our room had a great view of the Kilkenny castle and it’s within walking distance.

Rooms were spacious and well maintained, clean and tidy. Breakfast was pleasant and adequate

This was an overall nice hotel. The inside is a little maze like on a long winding path that involved going up stairs then down stairs and such but the room itself was great. Very clean and comfortable. I will say, we didn’t know before hand but apparently Kilkenny is a party town on weekends with lots of large groups going from pub to pub and it was loud outside until 3 or 4 am. Not something the hotel has any control over, obviously, but something to keep in mind if you’ll be staying here over a weekend.

I booked two rooms here for my sister and her friend, both in their 80's. I had previously stayed in Kilford and found it excellent. My sister & friend had a wonderful week here, they both said the staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful and friendly. They loved the food and ate at the hotel nearly every night. They said they would both give it 10/10 for comfort , value, food, and location
