As I said on check-in, this is a lovely old-fashioned family run hotel right on the beach. Reception manned 24/7, all staff helpful, friendly and efficient, free beach towels, nice breakfast, reliable wifi. Those in search of ultra-modern conveniences, who can't live without aircon or sleek contemporary decor, might not like it, but I loved it.

Lovely property, close to everything in the town- right next to the heart of everything and also right in front of the beach. Very kind and helpful staff all around. The room with sea view and terrace is totally worth it. Comfortable room and bed.

The staff were very friendly and spoke English well. The location was perfect and close to the beach, shopping and many eating options. The only things I didn't like was the security for their keys to the rooms. They weren't hidden away and they could accidentally be given to the wrong people. Wifi doesn't work on the 3rd floor but did work down in the lounge area.

When checking in I asked for the possibility to change to á room with a sea view, an option not offered on hotels.com. The gentleman on reception kindly arranged this for me. Reception was manned 24 hours a day and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and serviced daily. It was extremely comfortable.
I felt more as if I were staying in a country house than an hotel. This I think, is due to the fact that it is a family run hotel with high standards. So much more pleasant than one of the chain hotels in my opinion.
I am reluctant to praise it too much as I want to be sure of my room when I return, which I will do.
Á gem of a hotel with the personal attention lacking in many modern hotels.
