Nice hotel, great location
8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026
Good reliable British hotel just outside the university area. Several restaurants within walking distance. Place is old but relatively well maintained. There is a bar and restaurant on the premises.

Rooms were basically clean; carpets, bedding great. However skirting, corners, behind sink were not dusted etc. It was mentioned that they were short on staff on the information sheet in the room. Rooms needed redecorating or painting the obvious bits.
Breakfast was great!
Staff very helpful.

Our lovely room felt like a B&B. We opened the window. I don't think our room was air-conditioned. Excellent location by the river and Jesus Green, and walkable from Bridge Street. We enjoyed dinner and happy hour
