This is a terrific little hotel right in the HEART of Trieste. Trieste, by the way, is a place (if you love Italy) you should absolutely visit - cuz it's just 'simple cool'. The hotel is just lovely. Simple, and the breakfast was TREMENDOUS!

The hotel was good but only issue was I could hear voices in other rooms and footsteps past midnight last night.
The breakfast is good and staff delightful. No other issues.
There is an elevator but a set of stairs to get luggage to the door

The room was very clean. It is a vintage hotel - built in 1801 if we remember correctly. Small elevator (3 people only) but it works. Sometimes you have to wait a bit. Good continental breakfast. Excellent service and staff. Always helpful.

Convenient location midway when walking from the rail and bus stations to the short Grand Canal or the castle.
Friendly cheerful staff. Pleasant breakfast room.
