The staff were very obliging to us and our dog. The room opened on to the rear garden which was ideal. Just how you'd like a pub to be.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak. The room was basic, but clean and adequate. The bed was comfortable. We ate dinner there as well and it was delicious. The breakfast was good. My husband got the full English and I got scrambled eggs and bacon. The scrambled eggs seemed to be the rehydrated kind, but otherwise the meal was good. We would stay here again.

Well decorated, clean, large room at a good price and in a beautiful location. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, overall a very enjoyable stay.
