We had the big top room with the huge balcony which was wonderful. It was lovely sitting outside taking in the amazing views. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen nice We loved staying in a traditional old building which felt like an event in itself. The building is quite scruffy and could definitely do with a lick of paint and some TLC. However, on balance this wasn't too important, to us.

The only problem we experienced was the fact that the hotel had live music in the restaurant until very late in the night.
We had a very early start the next morning and did not get much sleep!
