Prior to coming to Thailand, I have never heard of the SALA resorts. So for first impression, this was probably my favorite hotel of all time. The staff was beyond helpful, friendly, courteous, and went out of their way to make sure that we felt special. The scenery at every meal was breathtaking as your right by the beach. The food was excellent every time. The hotel room with our own pool, we got an upgrade and to say that it was stunning is an understatement . They were helpful when it came to excursions, and also helpful when it came to rides or anything else that we needed. If I could stay at a Sala property everywhere I go I would. I would definitely recommend this hotel this staff to anybody staying in Phuket or anywhere else in Thailand. A final point is that all other hotels should measure how good their service and amenities are based on how SALA does it. The kindest staff anywhere.

SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort absolutely deserves five stars. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was exceptional. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the stay unforgettable.
The atmosphere throughout the property is peaceful and relaxing. It feels like a private sanctuary where you can slow down, breathe, and enjoy every moment. The amenities make it even better. The onsite restaurant offers a wide range of dishes with options for every diet, and everything I tried was delicious. The Muay Thai boxing lessons were a fun and energizing surprise. The pool area is stunning, the massages are top tier, and having direct access to the beach is the perfect way to start or end each day.
If you want a resort that blends comfort, luxury, and authentic Thai hospitality, this is the place. I would come back without hesitation.
