8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026
The room was great in all respects. Breakfast was good with a friendly chef, who cooked us lovely scrambled eggs. Unfortunately other guests when we arrived in the evening were rowdy and continually swearing and made our experience quite daunting. It would have been helpful if we had been warned about the £10 parking charge.

A relatively new hotel with very comfortable room and bathroom. AC provision especially great during heat waves. The restaurant is excellent and the food is beautifully cooked and presented. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Area around the hotel is a bit rundown but with a car there are plenty of lovely places to visit in Somerset and Devon.
Would recommend staying at this hotel.
