8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026
Really gorgeous view for the lakeview room with a balcony, though nice view came along with an uphill road to arrive at the hotel. Probably due to the historical building/regulations, no air-con was provided. But a fan was available in the room.

Although this is not a 5 start hotel by any standards, it has absolutely spectacular views of the Lake Lucerne. Stunning especially if you’re on the 4th floor like we were. The breakfast is a little underwhelming for the price charged. The staff were fantastic and very helpful.

For $30 US breakfast each morning was wonderful. There’s no place else to eat nearby so that is your main option. It had all the eggs and bacon, cereals, smoked salmon, yogurts lots of breads. The view of the lake Luzerne is fabulous from their balcony. Be sure to get a Lakeview room.
