Right on the Staits of Macinac. Beautiful view of Mighty Mac. Clean, heated outdoor pool. Rooms are smaller due to age of motel but had what we needed. No frills. Shuttle service to ferry. Helpful, friendly staff.

The Riviera Motel is one of the better bets in Mackinaw City if the Mackinac Bridge view matters more to you than a modern hotel.
You are steps from Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse and a short walk from Colonial Michilimackinac. Downtown shops and restaurants are about a 10-minute walk. A free shuttle runs to the Mackinac Island ferry docks. I-75 is close, so it works as a one-night bridge stop or a base for the island. Many rooms look straight at the bridge, the straits, and the island in the distance.
It is a family-run, older motel, not a resort. It has clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a small northern-Michigan theme. You get air conditioning, a flat-screen with cable, free Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, and a mini-fridge. There is no microwave in the room; a shared one sits near the office, along with an ice machine. Complimentary coffee, tea, or hot chocolate is available in the morning. I will be back next year
