Nice hotel in a convent location. Shops etc nearby and great for our Welsh three peaks challenge (near Pen y Fan)

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and a good choice. The bar is open well seated and out side sitting area. the external fabrication could do with improving for a better welcoming.
Unfortunately stairs were a bit much travelling to our room accommodation. But it's only @8 times in a day.Try ground floor. Shower pressure quite low, toilet floor needs a better clean. All in all not bad in our experience. Thanks to all staff.

The Hotel is nice if a little bit dated in places. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was nice and good value and it is in a great location for exploring the town and the Brecon Beacons national park. We paid £47 for a Sunday night which was exceptional value. At this price, you can overlook the hotel being a little tired in places.
