Hollywood Historic Hotel

Everything was great

Decent hotel right near Paramount studios. Comfortable bed and pillows. The building contains a pretty fancy restaurant that you can access from the reception area and breakfast in the morning from a small bakery a 1 minute walk from the hotel was decent (although a little pricy). Overall, the hotel was good, large room, sort of small bathroom, blackout drapes that did just that. I needed to store my luggage on check out day and pick it up around 5pm, not a worry at all! There is WIFI available, however it dropped in a and out constantly when I was in my room, in the hallway it was super fast and reliable. The room has a box aircon which is relatively quiet for a box aircon, although it takes a while to cool the room down. Mini fridge in the room with complimentary bottles of water. The only downside of the room was the noise from the street wasn’t well insulated i.e noisy cars, music etc. The hotel is nice and full of character, however there were a few homeless in the area. Public transport is two minutes away and is fairly convenient and cheap!

It is quiet, safe neighbor with a plenty parking space. Staff are kind and friendly. Room was clean and good enough room for just sleep. I will come back to this hotel again.

The staff was so great, incredibly helpful, fun and friendly. The hotel is so cute and safe and clean, we really enjoyed our stay there. Also, we enjoyed happy hour at the bar.
