We stayed here for a 4 nights mainly for the convenience of meeting friends also staying locally to Falariki, and for day excusions. The hotel was basic and our room was how we expected considering the price, but felt very dated and in need of renovation. Our shower was pretty poor and within a tiny bath so didn't have much space to move.
Having the pool, bar and snack area was useful although we were only around to make use of this for one morning/afternoon as we were elsewhere the majority of the time.
The location is convenient and close to good bars, bus connections, shops and restaurants. (Recommend trying Something Different across the road, outstanding)
The breakfast selection was very good and all food was fresh and well stocked. This area of the hotel felt totally different to our rooms and accommodation block, in a good way.
For what we needed it for the stay was good, although needs internal improvements to the hotel rooms and decor.

The hotel has a great 👍 pool area which is the main thing i suppose. The food, drinks, and service were all top noche. My basic room was good value, quiet, and had a nice balcony. The location is good close to nitelife and the beach. The hotel is also close to bus stops. The orien is a good choice.
