Alder Inn

Quiet, Quaint on Ski Run Road. A close walk to beaches, boat rental and fast food and sunset dining with a view of Lake Tahoe! Free parking and wi-fi. Housekeeping on request was not needed for my 5 night stay but ask for, and got fresh towels. My wife and I were sorry to have to leave and will return. The touchiness check in process was extremely user friendly. The price point was exceptional and could have paid hundreds more per night and for what? An English muffin and some dry eggs in a neglected chafer dish. No thank you Hampton Inn. If your looking for the Ritz Carlton, don’t stay here but if your smart….you found the spot.

Great place. Quiet and near a lot of activities. Lots of food and stores nearby. Very clean and nice rooms.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, THANK YOU

We spent several glorious days at Alder Inn, during the middle of the week. We had the place mostly to ourselves, but come Thursday evening, the lot was full. There is no office or onsite staff,aside from the housekeeping. You communicate mostly via text with off site property management. We had no issues with this, but a few other patrons did. This might be a process you want to streamline a bit. Every time we texted that we needed something (shower gel, towels) we got a quick response from management, and someone with housekeeping came quickly. Coffee pods are provided, which was nice, along with the mini fridge and microwave. We had coffee and wine daily out at the outdoor game area, which was very nice. The walk down to the lake was just perfect. I understand that some rooms do not have AC, so if that’s important to you, best to travel with a small fan. Great property, would definitely stay again.
