8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026
Very clean and modern hotel with enough space for two in the smallest room. Well located for exploring east London and reasonably priced.
The only thing I would mark it down for is the breakfast. I ordered the vegan breakfast and it was really quite unpleasant, including an unseasoned block of tofu (never seen that before at a restaurant!) and the veggie sausages were just mashed potato, carrots and peas. Also didn't have any non-dairy milk at the coffee station. Hopefully these are things which can be improved easily as it was otherwise a good hotel.

Close to the underground, quit rooms. Staff nice and welcoming. The shower had stained glass, worked for us as a couple, but won't work for a family. Too fee shelves, no dresser or cabinets, no fridge. Overall we enjoyed our stay

I'm happy I found this place! A comfortable room at a reasonable price in a great location. If you travel a lot and have stayed at many hotels, you know that standards can vary. Zip strikes the right balance between convenience and quality. I couldn't ask for more.
