Had a two night stay in Room 1. Staff all friendly and helpful. WiFi was on the blink.so not available on our room. They said they needed to fix it. Room was spacious. Lovely bathroom but lighting in both room and bathroom could be brighter. Water hot but found controls on shower difficult to adjust. Tea making facilities all good but I brought my own herbal tea - only standard tea available. Small bottle of still and sparkling water provided.

We used the Pickled Parson as a home base for a month while visiting family. The room we had for that duration of a stay was a little small, but it was comfortable, clean and made up daily. The staff were all amazing and really made us feel at home. A very relaxed atmosphere with great breakfast options. The bar was a great option to wind down at the end of the day with a night cap.
Situated on the village green, it is a perfect place to sit out in the warmer weather with great tea shops and restaurants close by.
Would definitely stay again in the future.

Firstly 10/10 staff - each of them are welcoming and helpful. From arrival, evening bar, breakfast and check out they are all fab!
The breakfast - wow! We have stayed numerous places and both my husband and I were very impressed with the choice, presentation, quality and tasty food. Matt is a fab chef.
Evening drinks in the bar supplied by a very friendly and helpful bar tender.
Lovely well decorated and clean room overlooking Green space and trees. Choice of teas, coffee etc. water bottles, biscuits.

Bit of unpainted/loose plaster behind radiator (wasn’t dry skin on towel 😂)
The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and whilst church bells could be heard they did not prevent sleep. In fact they were relaxing - people pay to go to sound baths for similar effect.
We were very happy the team of staff, the room, food and drinks.
Highly recommend.
