We stayed two nights at this hotel and it was truly wonderful. The room was very spacious, well decorated, and it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable with nice pillows, blankets, and robes. The shower was amazing as it was very large and the shower head was the rain kind with really hot water. The was a closet and plenty of flat surfaces to put your luggage. The breakfast was included and it was truly wonderful eggs however you wanted them, fresh fruit of the season, freshly squeezed oj, coffee, chocolate, te, arepas or bread. We also had empanadas and they were delicious. The pool looked nice but we didn’t use it. You have to wear a shower cap to get in. The personnel that worked in the hotel were super helpful and friendly. They gave is recommendations on where to eat, drink, and see. Highly recommend the hotel. The only issue we had was that the room got hot and we didn’t realize the windows opened. There is not AC. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Real. The staff were very attentive, polite and patient with us. We do not speak any Spanish, and the staff did not speak English, but it was easily accommodated by using translation on our phones and texting through What’sApp. As Canadian travellers this hotel seemed very elegantly furnished. The dining facilities and the bar felt like what the luxury hotels of 100 years ago would be like in the best way. There were very few other guests when we stayed there. I think it was the low season.
