Beautiful place!!! Wonderful staff, super helpful. It was lovely to be outside the city but would definitely hire a moped if we did it again as the walk into the city is 45mins-1hr and would just be easier to get around as taxis are expensive. Would definitely recommend this hotel

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Gelsi for two nights, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The rooms are beautifully designed, modern yet filled with warmth, charm, and thoughtful details that make you feel instantly at home. The entire property is impeccably maintained, and the garden with its pool area is a perfect haven for relaxation. A special highlight is the breakfast: everything is freshly prepared, sourced locally, and tailored to your wishes. The level of care and quality is outstanding. The hospitality, in general, is second to none, genuinely warm, attentive, and personal. Another wonderful touch is the option to enjoy lunch or dinner at the villa, thanks to a private chef, which elevates the entire experience even further. The location is also ideal: you can reach the city center in about 20 minutes on foot, or take a short 5-minute taxi ride to Piazza delle Erbe. These taxi rides are even covered by the hotel, which is an incredibly thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. Villa Gelsi is truly an oasis of relaxation and the perfect complement to a visit to Verona. We highly recommend it and will most certainly return!

Such a beautiful place—we really loved our stay. The design is stylish yet cosy, with so much attention to detail everywhere you look. Everything felt new, clean, and very well cared for. The garden is gorgeous and the pools are a highlight. We were also lucky to get an upgrade, which was a lovely touch. Most of all, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout. We’d definitely return!

In one word, this hotel is exceptional. The property is stunning. High on a hill with charming Verona below, it’s an oasis of tranquility surrounded by a sprawling Italian garden. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and breakfast are top notch. However, what truly sets this property apart is the wonderful staff. They will do everything to make you not only feel welcome but totally at home. This type of customer service is so rare now. Come to Villa dei gelsi for a restful stay away from the hustle and bustle and experience what outstanding customer service should feel like. We will definitely come back!!
