8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026

This motel was wonderful! We had a view of the ocean through a large picture window, and a beautiful trail to walk next to the ocean and its crashing waves over the rocks. My only critique is that dogs are allowed, and on our last night there were two snarling barking dogs next to us who disrupted our night of peace.

Fireside is in a beautiful location in Yachats. The coastline is rugged snd powerful. Fireside provides clean, comfortable room with lots of small amenities that makes the stay pleasant.

Great little place to stay that is right on the ocean and connected to trails that take you into town and to the beach. Staff was great, room was nice, overall just a very nice stay.
