As per previous reviews, it could do with a refurb but for the cost, we feel it was good value for money. Great location, lovely views from our room and close to local shops and restaurants.
One suggestion I would make is concerning the lack of available power sockets in the room. These could be changed out to combined usb and socket to allow the charging of phones and using the kettle/ hairdryer etc. quick fix.
Parking was a bit confusing, it states that hotel has a limited car park but it isn’t managed by the hotel. Perhaps a map of parking options be included on the info sheet given at check in would be useful. When you have been travelling for 5 hours, you just want to get settled asap
Overall we had a lovely stay in ilfracombe.

Friendly welcome from reception staff on arrival.
Room was Clean and great for our stay, shower (corner shower) was a bit small had to squeeze in between the door to get it.
Great location, shops, weatherspoons, fish and chip shop in easy walking distance.
10 minute walk to the harbour.
Would stay again
