Quite a place. The Onsen was decent, and the room was good enough. If you like a quiet, peaceful night, this is recommended. Please drive, or the transit will be a bit tough.

Loved this place. A little trip to a quieter part of Japan. The hotel worked very very hard to accommodate gluten free meals for my mother even after I had forgotten to tell them ahead of time. They were very sweet to help my mom experience traditional Japanese food, gluten free. The canals were lovely to tour as well.

The room was very spacious and we wish we could have stayed longer.

The BEST thing about Kamenoi are:
1. The Kaiseki dinner which was excellent in every way - the complementing nature ofthe dishes, the freshness of the dishes, the delectable taste, the presentation as well as the bright disposition of the dinner servers.
2. The boat service - the boats we of good quality but it was the boatmen who were so amazingly talented and passionate! We absolutely loved the experience.
