If you dislike the sound of trains at night, make sure to book a room on the ocean side. I was on the ocean side, but, I could still hear the trains, it was not disturbing. Make sure you arrange a taxi if you are unable to carry luggage up a steep hill. Walking up and down to lovely Moneglia can be an issue for elderly unfit guests.
I love the hotel and Moneglia. My third time at Mondial. I will go again.

The staff picked us and dropped us off at train station.
Front desk staff very helpful.
Breakfast staff very friendly and good service, breakfast was great as well
