Very friendly and helpful staff.
Very clean and comfortable Japanese style room with private toilet and basin. Easy access to shower and to the very relaxing traditional bathtub.
Excellent Japanese breakfast with great selection of dishes from fresh local ingredients.

Nice rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. We had breakfast and lunch there, both were delicious. There was no private shower in our rooms but the shared shower / bath was very nice and clean.

The breakfast was amazing (I chose the Japanese style) and the lady that prepared it (and checked me in) was super nice and accommodating. The tubs were great to soak in and it was nice to have the privacy (the bath room smelled a little mildewy, but that’s to be expected in a wooden room with high humidity). I Would definitely stay again.

A charming, quiet ryokan with friendly staff, clean rooms and nice (shared) baths. Breakfast was exceptional and almost too big to fit on the table. And even better, it was exceptionally reasonably priced. I'd recommend an overnight stay on Itsukushima so that you can get away from the crowds and see the island at its best, and I would happily stay here again.
