Friendly welcoming staff, a lovely quiet room at the back, a great selection of drinks, and really wonderful food (both evening meal and breakfast).

Breakfast menue was fresh but if you wanted much other than fried it was limited. They dont do food after 5.30 on a sunday evening so we ate out and the bar was shut when we got back. We did eat there sat evening and enjoyed the food so would have eaten there sun as well. Room was clean and comfortable.

The room was basic but very comfortable with a lovely shower room. Thoughtful extra touches such as a toothbrush beaker. Hospitality tray well stocked. Breakfast was pre-ordered freshly cooked using local produce.
But what really makes the Bulls Head is the staff. Always friendly helpful and cheerful.
The door of our room was sticking to the point that I had to ask staff to help closing/locking it. Which they did promptly and with a smile. But this was obviously a temporary problem which will have been fixed by now.
