Nice rural hotel in small village, 20 minutes from MUN airport. Rooms was a bit too warm.

In a quiet village about 15 km from Munich. Went there for Oktoberfest and the front office hooked us up with a very efficient cab driver. Breakfast was very good, with locally grown produce. Overall very good value for money especially this week of the year.
No english channels on TV that I could find - but I really had no time.

Cool, charming eco hotel not far from Munich airport (ca 22 minutes, low traffic route) very nice rooms, nice bathroom/entrance, easy and plenty of parking, great food, cosy restaurant, lovely breakfast with home made yougurt etc, nice terasse and garden, very friendly owners.
Quiet and tranquil surroundings, recommended! Here are just a few ’good to know’ points; rooms on 2nd floor (I believe rooms 11-21) have steep stairs and no elevator. There is limited wifi (there is cable to borrow to connect). No coffe maker or minibar in room, just good to know! Spacious rooms, wooden interior, small wooden bench and seats. Good work desk! French balcony on top rooms, overlooking the beautiful apple trees… door out on lower rooms.
ps) there is a church bell from 6 am to about 10 pm.. not super disturbing, but good to know ;-) Overall, a very lovely place!
