Property and room were great. Beautiful views and lovely pool plus boats at the dock! Breakfast was great. We were lucky to get a parking spot with EV charging. But parking was very tight and limited.

Very nice old hotel on the water. Nice pathway leads to town, which is also small but memorable. Sognal is a good location for a few days. Recommend the ferry across the water to the old stave church (with your car you can drive back around the fjord which is an amazing drive). Great stay for my family (including our 7 year old daughter who enjoyed the pool).

It is really difficult to bring my family's 4 heavy luggage to the third floor without elevator access.
