The Drake Hotel Plymouth

We only stayed one night but we can honestly say the Hotel was above our expectations the staff were friendly and welcoming our room was spacious clean and beautifully decorated and quiet. The breakfast was freshly cooked that we pre ordered last night and delicious much better the the buffet style. There was plenty of choice of cereals fresh fruit salad yoghurts and a hot drinks machine. The carpark is quite small some guest had reserved spaces (pre booked)Unfortunately our car was too long to fit into the last parking space so we parked on the side road and had to pay but we didn't mind as the hotel was worth it. We won't hesitate booking again next time were in Plymouth for a show

Would recommend to stay ideal next to the hoe and walking distance to the barbican very clean great breakfast book early went for the armed forces day it was packed great for kids

Older style hotel but it is being kept in excellent condition. The staff were all outstandingly helpful and we very much enjoyed our stay. Top marks. Couple of minor negatives. Our room was directly under the Dining area and it was very noisy when people were walking around overhead and the old floors really creaked. Apart from that, we were really happy with our room. It’s only a small thing, we know, but for those who care about their coffee, the expensive looking automatic coffee machine is simply not up to the task.

It was very clean and excellently maintained.
