Great place to stay! Single rooms are perfect if you'd like to have your privacy and do not want to spend on Hilton :) You have your own little bathroom included. Kitchen is tiny but equipped enough for guests' needs.
Reception staff is very helpful and will advise and organize everything you need during your stay in Monteverde.
One of the best hostels I've ever been.
Will miss that place!

I stayed two nights in a private room, the ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful with helping book my activities, they’ve really created a welcoming and chilled vibe. The kitchen and outdoor area is lovely. There’s everything you need both in the property and nearby. It was very chilly at night but was provided with extra blankets, the strong wind was a little noisy with plants hitting my window but I didn’t mind and always take earplugs in case of outside noise. It was super clean. Bed was comfortable. I think for a hostel and budget stay it’s a great.

Bldg. sits in the back & thus hard to find. Hallways have sudden 5 cm drop that people stumble over. Showers have no room/ledge for shampoo, soap, etc. Rooms & Lobby have no TV, no fan, no AC.
