Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and good breakfast. The hotel is part of an estate which is run as a not for profit organisation offering healthcare, social services, education and research so it's good knowing that any profit is going to something beneficial.

Lovely room and area, and very quiet both in room and grounds. Staff members were great. The property is beautiful and in a very convenient area to public transport and great views from the courtyard. Beds were very comfortable. It was very warm while we were there and there is no air conditioning, but opening the windows for a breeze at night worked great. Very short walk to a great Thai restaurant/bar, Pat's Corner. We spent a good portion of our evenings there. The complimentary breakfast was nothing short of amazing, with so many choices for pastries, chia pudding, fruits, cereal, jams, breads, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, juice, tea, coffee, and many other things I'm sure I'm forgetting.

The room is clean, although the facilities are a bit old however, the breakfast is really good and it has a nice view over the island and the city
