Friendly staff. Rooms clean. We ordered a full breakfast. Lots on the plate. Double of everything. No coffee machine for a proper coffee with breakfast. Overall a good nights stay.

Spent two nights at The Chequers and was very happy with my choice of accomodation. Very helpful staff when checking in and arranging breakfast for the following morning which was excellent. Ate in the restaurant area on my second evening and the meal was superb, good sized portions and very nicely cooked.
My room was very comfortable and quiet with all facilities working well.
In summary a great find and will stay again.
