Hotel was fine and the bed was comfortable. That being said the room had a very poor layout. Nowhere to put suitcases, only option is to unpack which did not make sense for 2 days. Furniture seemed like a dorm room. Also light switches and doors awkwardly placed.
Buffet had nice options and appreciated the coffee and tea all day. Other than private room and very comfy beds, it reminded us of a youth hostel. Seemed expensive for what it and where it was (suburban location), but Iceland is pricey!

Breakfast was great. Hot eggs, coffee, tea. Helpful staff in being able to give directions on how to do things when we couldn’t speak Icelandic.
