It was beautiful.
No washer or dryer. And there wasn’t an actual stove. But it was perfect for us. Just wished we would have known this prior.

We stayed in a suite there and made our own breakfast and it was great. It was close to the Carl Sandburg home which we visited. We could BBQ there. The price was well worth it.
They need to upgrade their Lake equipment specifically they could use a two person Kayak. A washer and dryer would be a great addition. Instructions about how to access the cable channels would be a help.

The location is excellent! So convenient to everything you could possibly need but you feel far enough away from the hustle and bustle to truly relax. This is just what we needed to disconnect from the day to day for a few days. We never even turned on the TV! You can fish, swim, kayak canoe or just float on the lake. Go sit down on the dock or just enjoy the views from the porch or the fire pit. A very nice walk around the lake and minutes from so many things to do. You can do as little or as much as you want and still have a great vacation! Michele and Allan were phenomenal hosts.
I cannot think of anything I did not like.
