Hanok Hotel DAAM Seoul

I loved the architecture of the building in the traditional hanok style on the outside and the layout of the rooms. The rooms were always cleaned daily and everything was well taken care of. The breakfast in the mornings was amazing, I really looked forward to coming down to the lobby every morning. All of the staff were very polite, professional, and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal because it is close to Anguk subway station and several bus stops so its easy to get around and explore the rest of Seoul without having to walk far. It's also close to two palaces, hanok village, and Insadong, so there's a lot to see nearby.

Thankfully, I didn't have any negative incidents at the hotel, it was a very pleasant experience for my entire two week stay.

I stayed in the hostel portion of the hotel. Quiet, very clean, easily accessible bathroom/showers. Excellent buffet breakfast every morning. Each staff member I encountered was kind and very helpful. Insadong Spa & Sauna, know to the most authentic experience in Seoul, is literally right down the street.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I hope to return to Seoul and would definitely stay again!

The staff was very helpful and very kind! The location was amazing also. The bathroom was really clean and the shower is amazing! Love that there are convenience stores nearby and restaurants in walking distance. Mattress is comfortable. Overall very nice.

The size of the room for 2 people is really small, no place to put all our stuffs. No windows was hard at first and the AC is often a problem (not the right temperature). The lighting in the room is too bright and there’s no nightlight. Also the door isn’t opaque so when there’s light outside we had light in the room.

It was great - location was good, it was quiet but close to everything and a small walk to the subways and the palaces. Loved having a laundry available. It was clean and the housekeeping team do a great job. The room was good, bed was comfortable. And it has an authentic feel.
