Aito was like a dream - what every Lapland enthusiast wishes to experience. The property is located on expansive private grounds and it is not a mass experience - the feel is very exclusive and calm - and not a mass-style resort churning out stays. I loved that. Added conveniences were the helpful transfers to the airport and the 2 hr complimentary spa use per day. The spa facilities on campus were lovely and relaxing - salt beds, traditional wood-fired sauna, two warm pools, and scenic outdoor jacuzzis etc. The lake views offer magnificent double aurora viewing chances. As a solo female traveller, I felt very well attended to - from the first messages for booking to my exit out of the hotel. Each and every staff member - from the warm front desk to the transfer team to the restaurant staff - were kind, professional and genuine. I want to name a few - Aida, Aneeqa, Diego, and Ruslan whom I interacted with firsthand. Don’t hesitate to come and experience this special spot! I hope to be back.

Great escape outside of Rovaniemi, good spa facilities, aurora huts were as advertised

Salt beds weren’t heated, hot pool water wasn’t very warm

We stayed for 3 nights in late August , hardly anyone there. However a very enjoyable time there with breakfast, spa, sauna , pool and Himalayan rock salt beds , bikes, canoe all included . Set in a beautiful pine forest and lake . Enjoyed the spa & sauna every day which was prepared for us each day. A special mention for Dipendra our waiter who was very amenable to satisfy our requests for additional items not on the menu.
