Location was great and the street parking outside was useful.
Bed comfortable but no choice of bedding. A 10.5 tog quilt was far too thick and warm for the season. Crockery was kept on a high shelf out of reach (5’4”).
There was a lot of fake plants and ‘nic-nacs’ - all of which must be kept spotlessly clean otherwise they can give the decor a grimy appearance. There was space for bedside tables or cabinets which would have given more space for phone-charging, books, a bedtime drink etc but the tiny shelf was insufficient for this purpose.

The house is stunning. It is over several floors and each floor and room was a wow when we walked in. Lots of facilities, dishwasher, central heating, cosy sofas and comfy beds. TV had streaming. Parking was easy and we could leave the car after checkout so we could explore the city. The house was right next to one of the main Chester streets and the walls. It was great to have a meal out across the road in Moules a go-go. We rebooted straight away for next year. Definitely 5 star.
Due to the age of the building the bathroom and bedroom doors have moved a bit and wouldn't close. Not really an issue.

The house was right in the centre so we only had to walk 2 minutes to our wedding venue and Chester was so lovely. I loved having a soak in the roll top bath. The bed was lovely and comfortable and considering the property was in the centre it was quiet so we had a good night sleep.
There was only one criticism I would have and that was the damp musty smell from the cellar which was noticeable as soon as we walked in (I think because there was an open staircase down to it from the living room with a stargate across it).

Perfect location
The property is in a great location for Chester. It looks to be needing some TLC now. The ground floor carpet needs a thorough clean or replacement and the Rug on the floor is dirty and is a trip hazard. One of the kitchen doors (under sink needs repair) generally requires a good refresh and clean in some places. We still enjoyed our time in Chester but sadly would not return to stay here again as it is at the moment.
