The property is beautiful. Each room has an incredible view. The building is modern and seems like it was just built. It was a really special stay.

Elvira and Katerina were one of the highlights, just after the beautiful surroundings and installations.
We reached the hotel by rental car from Porto, 1 hour and 40 minutes. The hotel is on top of a hill full of vineyards, and what a beautiful view of the river the hotel has.
In the morning breakfast is served beautifully. You can buy wine from the Quinta by glass or bottle, good quality.
The hotel has no restaurant so you have to go to town for lunch and dinner.
Room was immaculate, although I should mention that the toilet has no door, so privacy there is none.
There is a non acclimated pool, too cold when I went. Had a wonderful massage.
I would love to go back someday, especially around August or September when the grapes are ripe and the weather is a little warmer. One of my favorites for sure.

Quinta Vale de Lobos is an elegantv accommodation, situated on a terraced hillside within Portugal's stunning Douro Valley. Expect a panoramic river view in a clean, modern room. The facility has a small infinity pool and rooms with air conditioning. Mind the signs getting to the facility.
