Der Straßenlärm

Belle surface d'appartement. La propreté. L'ascenseur. La climatisation (assez bruyante). Grande salle de bains (avec flexible de douche).

La rue très bruyante. Parking dans la rue payant (mais ce n'est pas cher). Il manque une table basse de salon et beaucoup d'ustensiles de cuisine (couverts, plats...)

The flat was fine - very modern and spacious with good fittings in a great location and with facilities nearby including a wonderful cafe/wine bar on the corner where we had a drink and a delicious breakfast the next morning.

This feedback is affected by the fact that, on arrival, the flat had not been serviced. The bed had been slept in, towels were all over the bathroom floor and there was general debris in the living room. I reported this immediately to the host who apologised and agreed to send in the cleaners immediately. It would appear they had forgotten about our flat. We needed to leave which we did for an hour (not very convenient as we were going to the opera and needed to change and eat) and the flat was duly cleaned. The host agreed to refund the first night of the accommodation which I accepted and I was asked to complete a section on the booking.com app. Once I managed to do this, the exact option was not available so I chose the closest to it - cancelling the first night stay. After that time, in respite of my efforts to contact the host - a no of times, messages from them ceased so I took up a complaint with booking.com who tried to intervene unsuccessfully. This unfortunately has marred my experience.
