Super friendly staff. They noticed we left some items in the room then flagged us down before we drove off. They didn’t hassle us about being late getting out.
The room was very homey. Fireplace was a great touch. The room also had AC.

This is a great place to stay for a one-nighter on a long journey. The place is currently undergoing updates, which are not messy (things like new doors). Our room smelled as if it had previously hosted smokers, which wasn’t ideal. The bed was VERY comfortable. Our stay was nice, quiet and dark, great sleep quality. The TV had a good selection of options and hosts were very helpful and friendly.
Things to note (which did not weigh into this review): Unfortunately the website hours for the Mexican restaurant next door are not reliable, but the location is close to a McDonald’s and a small town that has decent pizza.
