Clean. Nice pool

Remote. Nowhere to eat or buy food within walking distance.

Idyllic location. The beautiful gardens overlook a meadow and offer a private and peaceful retreat - a perfect view for watching the sunset. The pool is clean and well maintained; it's surrounded by shrubs and trees so provides an unobtrusive spot to cool down on those hot summer days. The property itself is beautifully designed; stylish and comfortable. Our queen suite was spacious and spotlessly clean. The kitchenette was well equipped for our one week stay. The host was amazing. Erudite and friendly, he charmed us with his knowledge of the area and Portuguese history. Every effort was made to make our stay enjoyable. The village has a small cafe, perfect for breakfast and evening drinks. The staff and locals are very friendly, we always felt welcomed: a part of the community for our short stay.

Nothing: cannot recommend enough.

The location is very green and relaxing

The room/ location has significant improvements to make. There are NO doors to the toilet, it is completely open in front of the basin and shower. This can be VERY embarrassing ane awkward if you are with your partner. Never seen something like this. Would recommend a DOOR. There are also NO shelves in the bathroom, absolutely no room to place your things. No shampoo either. Coffee and cups are present (never changed during our stay though) but no spoons. There is not even a table to have breakfast on. Not even on the property. Would highly recommend to put at least a table. There is a very nice garden, would be nice to sit and have breakfast outside. Frankly, for the price ( being in the middle of nowhere) I would have expected MUCH BETTER!
