Well equipped, clean and very comfortable. We was surprised just how quiet this apartment was. No need for ear plugs, (first time ever while on holiday in NY). In a great location so in easy reach of lower manhattan and battery park. Great Chinese restaurants and the cheaper souvenir shops. Places like the ghostbusters fire station, rice to riches, Brooklyn bridge within a half mile walk. In a safe area. Great communication from host. We would use this accommodation again.
If being picky, Canal street is at the end of the road the apartment is on, which has lots fake good sellers, just gets busy and Canal street can be difficult to walk down. Please note apartment was up 3 flights of stairs so can be challenging for those with walking issues.

The place is very comfortable with one private bathroom, just enough for us! The host’s service is great. Just a heads‑up: there is no elevator.

Location is great, it was fairly comfortable
There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, one of the cabinet doors was falling off, the kitchen was very minimally stocked and the silverware was in a weird place behind the broken cabinet door. The Microwave and toaster oven took up all the counter space. There was no coffee or end tables making the only place to comfortably eat sitting on w stools facing a blank wall (in a two bedroom, you should consider that 3 or more people will be likely.
